In this step-by-step course, you’ll create a botanical wreath scoring file while learning how to design efficiently in both Adobe Illustrator iPad and Desktop. I know every designer has their own workflow, so my goal isn’t for you to copy mine exactly—but rather to:

• Walk away with a polished scoring file (or several!) ready to sell in your shop
• Gain confidence in creating beautiful, laser-ready scoring designs

Hi, I'm Sarah!

My first laser was a Glowforge Aura, now I have a Glowforge Plus I've been painting and drawing since a very young age, I started creating digital art at the age of 11 using Adobe Photoshop and a knock-off Wacom tablet! I began my art business in 2021 and have used Adobe Illustrator almost daily since then. I've had a Cricut since 2015 and it's still going strong!

• Motifs: an image or element of a larger composition (example: a leaf will be a motif in our botanical wreath)
• Anchor Points: also known as nodes, points that determine the direction and shape of a path
• Paths: vector paths, a line or shape made up of connected anchor points

• make sure to bookmark the course home page for easy access
• to return to the overview page from a lesson, click the header image (there is a picture of a house as a reminder :)
• on the lesson pages you can use the sidebar for quick navigation through lessons
• some lessons have several sub-lessons, to make sure you don't miss any you can click "next" at the bottom of the lesson to navigate to the next
